“‘I am the master of my own ship.’ I would absolutely recommend Orion Lost. It’s a sci-fi story set on a transport ship called Orion, which is navigating away from Earth through space to Eos Five (via ‘Jumping’). The characters are engaging and they feel real when you read them (they aren’t perfect). Beth, for example, has to overcome a number of personal struggles throughout the book. Alastair Chisholm’s story throughout space left me wanting to read more – partly because of these well-written characters but also the twists and turns woven into the narrative.”
