1001 Animals to Spot by Ruth Brocklehurst
“My 3 year old son would not put this down! He loved it so much, we got other books in the series too. I could sit for hours with him just looking and spotting – the pictures are so interesting and are really great conversation starters with many learning/teaching opportunities too. Great for an EYFS setting, as this book not only encourages tracking, language, counting and hand to eye co-ordination; but also offers an alternative to a story or non-fiction book. I guess it is somewhere in-between, as there are so many scenes to explore and pictures which will spark off the imagination. A great read – brilliant for children and long car journeys, I have discovered…..!”
